"When I say I want to photograph someone, what it really means is that I'd like to know them. Anyone I know I photograph."

I’m Colorado born and raised, and I can without a doubt say that I love this state with all my being. I don’t believe there’s any other kind of remedy for a bad day than being unplugged and in the great outdoors.

The Bat Cave: I’ve been shooting photography for over 14 years. My passion started in 2005 thanks to John Costello who taught me how to take a photo with a tin can, shoot and develop by hand 35mm black and white, color, and alternative process. The darkroom was my place of peace, and I hope to have one in my home someday!

Movies are my love language, and one of my favorite to talk about. I have a running list of every film I watch each year. Ask me about my favorite films, or what I’ve seen lately!

Speaking of film, I have been working in broadcast television for the past 7 years. I got my BFA in Film and Television and currently work in commercial freelance for many clients in the Denver metro area.

I’m a soon to be bride myself! 3 years ago I met a handsome Canadian over apple cider, and well, ever since that first date we’ve been inseparable. He is my best friend, my travel buddy, and my everything. We picked a date and are so excited to elope this year in Ireland!

Sam and I try to travel at least 2-3 times a year. A lot of our friends ask us why we’re always on the go and honestly it’s because we’re investing in something that we are truly passionate about: the memories and experiences. Our bucket list is: Japan, Thailand, and Nepal (I have a dream to stand at base camp of Mount Everest)!

I’m in the process of writing a book, and someday dream to host a yearly mountain retreat for all my Endometriosis sisters who need rest, encouragement, and sisterhood.

I currently live in Denver with my fianceé and our Blue Merele Schanuzer, Sirius!
